This is what I believe. This is what I stand for.

What more incentive does one need than to lead the nation forward while preserving and protecting the values outlined in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights? The Presidency, and Congress, are not offices to get rich from; they are the repositories of the peoples’ trust in you for their future and the future of their progeny.

I intend to represent to the working (and non-working) people of Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.

For too long, we voters have continued to elect the same types of people – and we continue to be used as Washington’s piggy bank. We work harder and harder, with less to show for it

I feel qualified to do this because I work too. I work an hourly wage in a low-income apartment community, and each day I see the continuous struggles of people trapped in low income wages.  I see my neighbors struggle to build what we think of as a middle class lifestyle, but struggle with the rising costs of raising children and saving for education and retirement costs.

I have faith in us as Americans to remember that all of us were strangers to this country once. Our immigrant ancestors came to these shores with little more than hope of building better lives, and to this day that is the offer we hold out to the world:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”

I believe that expenses need to be controlled in Washington, but not at the expense of the most vulnerable of our communities. I want to audit departments and programs to see where our tax dollars are going. I want to develop more training and education centers. I want clean water and clean air for the children we will have in the our future, as well as educational opportunities and health insurance for all Americans.

I want to be your voice on Capitol Hill. I want to have your concerns on my to-do list. I want to be your employee in the House of Representatives,
